With a career spanning two decades in real estate development across Portugal, Luís Gamboa has become a key architect of VIC Properties’ operational success. Starting in the financial sector, he leveraged his academic background in management to transition into real estate, gaining expertise across the full development lifecycle.
Throughout his career, Luís has overseen the delivery of more than 10,000 residential units across large scale projects in Portugal, with a particular focus on planning, development and business operations. His broad experience spans complex urban regeneration and master planned community development.
As Co Founder and Chief Operating Officer of VIC Properties, Luís plays a central role in the operational execution of the company’s key developments. These include Prata Riverside Village, a mixed use riverside neighbourhood in Lisbon; the Matinha regeneration project, one of the largest residential led mixed use developments to secure approval in the country; and Pinheirinho, a major hospitality led estate in Comporta that combines luxury hospitality with branded residences and homes.
Under his leadership, VIC Properties continues to advance projects that contribute to urban renewal and address housing needs, strengthening the company’s position in the Portuguese real estate market.
