28ART Gallery hosts “Four Seasons”, an exhibition by artist Claudia Lima at Riverside Village

The 28ART Gallery, located at Prata Riverside Village in Marvila, will host “Four Seasons”, an exhibition by Luso-Brazilian and Swiss artist Claudia Lima, opening on September 12 with a vernissage from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

Curated by renowned philosopher and composer Emanuel Pimenta, the exhibition presents a selection of works that reflect Claudia Lima’s singular path, marked by a non-digital intermedia approach where paints, fabrics, forms, and materials intertwine in compositions of profound aesthetic and critical freedom.

Over the course of the exhibition, a series of parallel activities will be organized, highlighting both the collection’s themes and the origins of artist Claudia Lima, reinforcing the multicultural environment that currently defines Prata Riverside Village.

“Four Seasons” will be open to the public at 28ART Gallery, with free admission, until October 30, celebrating art as a revelation of culture and the human condition.

About Claudia Lima

Claudia Lima, of Luso-Brazilian and Swiss nationality, was born in Rio de Janeiro and has lived in Lisbon since 1980. She studied with master Ivan Serpa, a central figure of the Brazilian concretist movement. Her work, deeply rooted in the history of contemporary art, has been presented in institutions such as the Grand Palais (Paris), the Salão Negro of the Federal Senate (Brasília), the Museu do Traje (Lisbon), and more recently at the Instituto Guimarães Rosa (Rome).

About Emanuel Pimenta

Curator Emanuel Pimenta, twice awarded by AICA and recipient of the Gold Medal from the Academy of Arts, Sciences, and Letters of Paris, brings a philosophical and sensorial reading of Claudia Lima’s work to the exhibition. With an international career that includes collaborations with John Cage, Merce Cunningham, and exhibitions at venues such as Lincoln Center (New York) and the Venice Biennale, Pimenta is a key figure at the intersection of art, science, and technology.
